City Looking for More Feedback on HB Mobility

The City of Huntington Beach is planning to enhance access and mobility with “HB In Motion” – the Huntington Beach Mobility Plan. HB In Motion focuses on the portion of the Beach Path for which the City is responsible for, as well as citywide bicycle and pedestrian networks. This study seeks to plan out mobility options for pedestrians, cyclists, micromobility, and more.

The first online survey took place last year on May 5, 2022, which addressed topics about the future of the beach path, e-bikes, and max speeds. Based on those survey results, staff has developed project ideas for implementation. We want to hear from the people of Surf City about their preferences for walking, cycling, and rolling around in Huntington Beach.

Huntington Beach in Motion Community Survey #2 is now live and ready to receive your input. The survey is expected to remain online for 2 months or until adequate responses are received. In addition to this survey, the City will also be hosting one virtual meeting later this year to share our findings.
