The theme for AAPI Heritage Month 2022 is “Advancing Leaders Through Collaboration.” To celebrate AAPI Month, the City’s Human Relations Committee will present a Cultural Cinema Showcase featuring stories and storytellers of underrepresented groups. Using the arts as a bridge to promote human dignity, films in this upcoming cycle are in honor of AAPI Heritage month and have been selected by jurists and shared with the community. We invite everyone to join us at the Huntington Beach Public Library on Thursday, May 19 with refreshments and photos at 5:30 pm, and the screening at 6 pm.
