Coffee and Culture: George Freeth and SoCal Surf History

Enjoy our new events happening at Huntington Beach’s Branch Libraries!

The Main Street branch is proud to offer their new “Coffee and Culture” series that will focus on the many cultural and historical events related to our coastal California experience.  Join us for this fascinating presentation!   Enjoy a cup of coffee while you listen and learn something new about Southern California’s amazing surf history.

First up, on Tuesday, July 26 at 6:00 pm*, is Professor and surf history author Patrick Moser, discussing his book Surf & Rescue: George Freeth and the Birth of California Beach Culture.
