The City of Huntington Beach Human Relations Committee (HBHRC) will be hosting HB Listens: Community In Action event from 6-8pm on Thursday, October 6, 2022 at the Senior Center in Central Park (Parkview Room), located at 18041 Goldenwest Street in Huntington Beach and you’re all invited to join us.
The HBHRC’s mission is to promote a sense of belonging for all here in Huntington Beach and create an inclusive community where all people are respected, valued, and free from discrimination and violence. Towards that mission, HB Listens is its interactive program focused on bringing people together to engage in positive, authentic conversations about a range of topics and promote community solidarity. are intended to create an inclusive community.
This particular event is a follow-up event from one held on August 2, HB Listens Dialogue Circles, as a part of 2022 Vans US Open of Surfing to continue dialogues and create our own call to action.
We will invite these panelists back to hear more about their work and how you get involved.

• Sunny Lee Goodman, Consultant in conflict resolution and courageous listening
• John Villa, Executive Director of HB Wetlands Conservancy.
