Library Book Club reads “Queenie Malone’s Paradise Hotel” by Ruth Hogan

September’s book club meeting will be VIRTUAL, via Zoom on Tuesday, September 6, 2022 from 7:00 to 8:00 pm. Bestselling author Ruth Hogan will tell us the story of Tilly, who lives in Queenie’s hotel with her mother and the rest of the “family of misfits” who find their way to the town of Brighton. Their mother-daughter relationship is put to the test when Tilly is sent away to a boarding school for no apparent reason. When Tilly’s mother passes away, she returns to Brighton as an adult, and eventually finds out the surprising reason for her mother’s decision.
