The Library’s First Romance Book Club to launch at the Main Street Branch!

Gone are the days of “spotless” book clubs with dainty tea sets –  get ready for some dirt at the new “Spilling the Afternoon Tea: Romance Book Club” at the Main Street Library.  This in-person event will take place on Saturday, August 27 at 3:00 pm, and will feature bestselling author Emily Henry’s The People We Meet on Vacation.  Fans aged 18 and up of Bridgerton or Happily Ever Afters will enjoy this all-out discussion of everything romance that tells the story of Poppy and Alex’s attempt to revive their stalled relationship by resuming their annual summer vacation together.  Check out the Book Club kit from Random House for a conversation with the author, Alex and Poppy’s music playlist, and more!  Join us as we sip some tea and dish romance by registering here https://hbpl.libcal.com/event/9427230.  The Main Street library is located at 525 Main Street in downtown HB.
