Announcing the 2023 Miss Huntington Beach Scholarship Program & Pageant
“Celebrating Surf City’s 110th Queen”
________________________________________
Celebrating the coronation of the 110th Queen of Huntington Beach, the Miss Huntington Beach Program & Pageant offers a platform for the young women of Surf City to serve our community. Our current Queen, Gisell Gochman, is a Huntington Beach High School alumna currently attending the University of California, Los Angeles. This year’s pageant has several accomplished young women who will be vying for the scholarships and titles of Miss HB. They will be judged on panel interviews, their choices of stage attire (business, athletic and formal), their platforms, verbal presentation, leadership, commitment to humanity, and a desire to represent our city at various functions throughout the year. The Miss HB team’s focus for its contestants is to empower themselves by gaining self-confidence, passion, and furthering their education.
The Pageant will be held at the Huntington Beach Central Library Theater on Saturday, October 22, 2022, at 3:00 PM. Our Master of Ceremonies is the renowned Wink Williams and tickets will be $30 at the door including a souvenir program and reception following. Entertainment will include a professional performance by Bethany Owen paying tribute to the legendary Judy Garland, and a live auction presented by Auctioneer Tony Lovejoy that will include some very exciting local items and experiences.
