“The Revolution,” a living history of the Revolutionary War, will be presented in Central Park in Huntington Beach on Saturday, March 2 and Sunday, March 3 starting at 10 a.m. by the Huntington Beach Historical Society.
Hundreds of volunteers will come to the city from all over the country to share history. There will be hundreds of re-enactors, four reenactment battles with horses and cannons, historical demonstrations, talks, music, food and historical vendors.
There will also be new presentations and displays discussing the role of Spain and France in the story of independence, the role of Native Americans, life for women in the Revolution and how California played a small role.
Attendees will be able to meet George Washington, Benjamin Franklin, John Adams, the Marquis de Lafayette and other pivotal Founders.
