It’s that time of year again where we come together as a community to help others in need during the holidays. The Huntington Beach Fire Department is requesting the donation of new, unwrapped toys for our 2022 Spark of Love toy drive. The Spark of Love toy program benefits local charity and non-profit groups in our community who provide toys to kids and teens who may otherwise not fully enjoy the magic of the holidays.
The earlier you donate, the more impact your donation will have. We are now accepting toy donations at each of our neighborhood fire stations, Marine Safety headquarters, Senior Center in Central Park, and City Hall.
In addition to delivering unwrapped toys, here are other ways you can contribute:
- Monetary donations made be made through the non-profit Huntington Beach Fire Outreach Foundation (HBFOF).
- By credit card or PayPal on the HBFOF Website.
- By check or money order, payable to “HBFOF” and with a note of “Spark of Love”. Mail to: HB Fire Outreach Foundation, 6771 Warner Ave PO Box 1903, Huntington Beach, CA 92647
- Toys may also be purchased from the Huntington Beach Fire Department gift registry at Huntington Beach Fire Department Gift Registry
We are also accepting group donations on behalf of businesses, neighborhoods, or community groups. Please contact Ruben Solorzano at 714-536-5411 to arrange for a collection bin (while they last) or a drop off appointment.
We thank you for your generosity and support as we come together to make the holidays a little brighter for Huntington Beach. For more information about the Spark of Love toy drive, please visit: HBFD Website – Spark of Love 2022
