In celebration of its 25th anniversary, the City’s Human Relations Committee (HRC) wishes to honor Huntington Beach history and embrace its future with a new HRC logo that supports its vision:
Huntington Beach is a community where all people feel respected, valued, and free from discrimination and violence
The HRC is hosting a logo redesign contest that is open to all Huntington Beach high school artists. The deadline to submit a logo is March 24, 2022. Simply submit your information (name, high school, contact info) and logo design along with a compelling story about the process to design your logo (no more than 200 words) and submit to www.filmfreeway.com/hbhrc. The submission should also follow these criteria:
Audience: Residents and Visitors to Huntington Beach
Theme: Human Relations Committee’s vision (see above)
Tagline: Empathy. Dignity. Strength.
Design style: Simple, Memorable, Timeless, Versatile, Appropriate
Colors: See current HB logos
Intended Use: Digital and Print including website
Format: pdf., jpg. and/or .png file
The City will award a $100, $50, $25 gift certificate for the 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place winners, as well as an official certificate from the City of Huntington Beach.
