Police Recruit: Are you ready to embark on a fulfilling career as a police officer? The HBPD is looking for enthusiastic individuals to sponsor (tuition & training fees, supplies necessary, and recruitment pay) into the police academy as future Huntington Beach police officers.
Police Officer (Experienced/ Lateral): If you’re an experienced police officer seeking a new and dynamic work environment, our continuous recruitment for experienced/ lateral candidates is tailored for you. Communications 911 Dispatchers (Experienced/ Lateral): For those with experience in communications and emergency response, HBPD has open positions for experienced/lateral Communications 911 Dispatchers.
Police Cadet: If you are between 18 and 25, interested in law enforcement, and enrolled as a full-time high school or college student, our part-time Cadet Program may be for you. The Cadet Program is designed to develop skills and abilities for young individuals who wish to pursue a law enforcement career. Work hours are assigned around the student’s class schedule.
