For anyone who missed Tuesday’s City Council meeting, I am so happy to announce that my City Council colleagues and I voted to identify methods for improving ongoing maintenance of public restrooms at our beach. While this may not seem like a big deal to some, to many it is a much needed investment that will improve not only our resident’s quality of life, but also the reputation of our City for the many visitors we host. For a City that is known for our uninterrupted coastline, it is unacceptable to not offer clean facilities for our community’s use. I know that our Public Works Department will make quick work of this and get our restrooms up to the quality our residents deserve.
