Sean Crumby to Leave City of HB for New Opportunity

Public Works Director, Sean Crumby, announced today that he will be leaving the City of Huntington Beach to pursue a new opportunity. A long time resident of Huntington Beach, Sean has over 27 years of Public Works experience serving various cities throughout Orange County, as well as Long Beach. In 2020, Sean was appointed to Director of Public Works for Huntington Beach and throughout his tenure oversaw the delivery of nearly $90 million in capital improvements throughout HB.

The Public Works Department’s two Deputy Directors, Alvin Papa & Chau Vu, will both serve equal rotating terms as Acting Director during the City’s recruitment effort for a permanent Director. Alvin and Chau have a combined total of over 40 years experience in Public Works, working for various cities such as, Bell Gardens, Garden Grove, and Long Beach.
