In coordination with the City of Huntington Beach and the Huntington Beach Downtown Business Improvement District, the Sister City Association will present NOBUSHI, Japan’s best professional taiko drum group.
NOBUSHI translated means “Wild Samurai,” and that is precisely how they perform, with complete dedication and fantastic power and choreography! Based in Fukuoka, Japan, they sell out concerts in Japan and all over the world in stadiums and large theaters.
In 2015, NOBUSHI performed at the 4th of July Parade in front of H.B. High School’s Auditorium. After that well-received, 2-hour performance, combined with their enjoyment of the Fireworks Over the Ocean and the many locals they met, the members of NOBUSHI fell in love with Huntington Beach ever since they have been eager to return.
Location: Pier Plaza Amphitheater.
Date: Sunday, September 4th
Time: 11:00AM, 2:00PM
