Curious about just how the City of Huntington Beach operates? We invite you to apply for our Annual Citizens Academy, a nine-week course designed to teach residents and business owners about the City and the services it provides. Applications are due March 18, 2022 and can be accessed in the link below.
Starting the evening of April 13, 2022, participants will meet with City Council members, department heads and staff to learn about how decisions are made, how city funds are allocated, and how each department operates. The program will also incorporate tours of several facilities citywide, discuss future plans for the city, and conclude with a graduation acknowledgement at the June 21 City Council meeting.
