Steven Aguilar Joins Surf City as Assistant City Clerk

The City of Huntington Beach welcomes Steven Aguilar as the new Assistant City Clerk, a position that administers and oversees city records including agendas, minutes, ordinances, resolutions, contracts, and other official records of the City.

Experienced in local government, Aguilar served the cities of Corona and Eastvale before joining the City of Irvine from 2019-2021 serving as Deputy City Clerk II, then as Assistant City Clerk. Following his time in Irvine, he moved to Texas where he served as the Board and Local Government Liaison for the Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport.

Aguilar has an Associates degree in Social and Behavioral Studies from Norco College and is furthering his education at Grand Canyon University.

We’re happy to have him back in Orange County where he will help our City Clerk, Robin Estanislau as a liaison between the public and the City Council. With all his past experience in local government, Steven is sure to be a great addition to the Huntington Beach’s City Clerk office.
