“Cinderella” Ballet Coming to the Central Library Theater

The Children’s Library and the Friends of the Huntington Beach Children’s Library (FOTL) will be presenting four ballet performances of “Cinderella” on Tuesday, May 17 and Wednesday, May 18 at 4:30 and 7:30 pm in the Library Theater.  Tickets are on sale now for $10 per person.  Advance ticket purchase is advised, as they will sell out.  These popular ballets are one of the many types of cultural and literary events presented by the FOTL on behalf of the Children’s Library.

The production is being performed by Ballet Etudes. They are celebrating their 25th season as Huntington Academy’s resident non-profit youth ballet company. Their mission is to expose a new generation of children, both performers and audience members to the beauty, grace, and athleticism of ballet at affordable prices.  The group is a 501(c)3 Non Profit Corporation funded by private and corporate donations and seeks support from those who have a vested interest in the quality and continued development of the performing arts.
