This Independence Day, Huntington Beach will host one of the biggest and unquestionably the best Independence Day parades in our nation. With more than 100 groups participating, the 119th annual 4th of July Parade will kick off at 10 a.m. starting at Pacific Coast Highway near the Huntington Beach Pier.
Classic cars, Huntington Beach High School cheerleaders, military veterans, marching bands, service club organizations, and even our own Mayor will take part in the parade festivities as the parade route travels south on PCH, then takes a left at Main Street and goes all the way up past Lake Street Park, past City Hall and concludes at Clay Street.
Public seating along the 2.5 mile route is available on a first-come, first-serve basis, but no “staking” areas for seating is permitted before 7:00 a.m. on Monday, July 3rd and mind the signs that say “no staking allowed” for areas needed for public safety or event management, such as the second block of Main Street. VIP seating at PCH and Main is available for $30 per person, and you can reserve your spot by clicking here. Keep in mind that the reserved area is also first-come, first-served for the VIP guests and the VIP section opens at 8 am on July 4th.
