Spring Break is just around the corner, and what better way to spend it than with the HBJGs! Join us from April 1 through April 5 for an unforgettable staycation filled with sun, sand, and safety lessons right on the beach. This marks our third year hosting Spring Break with the HBJGs, and we couldn’t be more excited to kick off the sunny season with you.

Our Spring Break class runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. daily, offering children and teens ages 9 to 17 a fascinating experience in water and ocean safety and engaging physical activities. Unlike the Huntington Beach Junior Lifeguards program, no swim test or tryout is required, making it accessible to all who want to join.

But that’s just the beginning! Our Spring Break class is the perfect introduction to the Huntington Beach Junior Lifeguard program, a seven-week initiative focused on beach and ocean safety, ecology, lifesaving skills, surfing, bodyboarding, physical fitness, and more. It’s an opportunity for youth in our community to dive into a world of adventure and learning.

And if you’re already looking ahead to summer, don’t miss out on the Huntington Beach Junior Lifeguard program. Remember to complete the swim test, which includes swimming 100 yards in under one minute and 50 seconds, treading water for five minutes, and swimming underwater for 10 yards.
