Are you curious about just how the City of Huntington Beach operates? We invite you to apply for our Annual Citizens Academy, a nine-week course designed to teach residents and business owners about the City and the services it provides.
Starting the evening of April 11, 2024, participants will meet with City Council members, department heads, and staff to learn how decisions are made, how city funds are allocated, and how each department operates. The program will also incorporate tours of several facilities citywide, discuss plans for the city, and conclude with a graduation acknowledgment at the June 6 meeting.
