The Huntington Beach Youth Board is inviting all Huntington Beach high school students to celebrate Youth in Government Day on Tuesday, April 26, from 8:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Youth in Government Day is an exciting and educational event that offers HB students an opportunity to learn about the day-to-day operations of local government through hands-on participation. Students will have the opportunity to interact with members of the City Council, the City Manager, and Department Representatives, and will have the opportunity to see what it’s like to work in and be part of city government! This year’s theme is sustainability; students will have a chance to participate in a mock council meeting followed by a luncheon with a guest speaker!
