While businesses large and small have suffered during the pandemic, many of our local microbusinesses – companies with just 1-4 employees – have suffered the most.  To help alleviate some of those challenges, the County of Orange is offering local businesses up to $2,500 in grant funding to microbusinesses of fewer than five full-time employees and has less than $50,000 in gross revenues in the 2019 taxable year.  Eligible businesses must also have been in operation prior to December 31, 2019 and are currently now open or have plans to re-open when the state permits the re-opening of the business.  The application period is now open through March 15, 2022.

The County of Orange will allocate a total of more than $3 million provided by the state.  The resources are targeted in $2,500 increments to microbusinesses facing barriers including small businesses owned by women, minorities, veterans, individuals without documentation, etc.
