In a recent study from the personal finance outlet WalletHub.com, Huntington Beach ranks as 2022’s 9th Happiest City in America! The company ranked 180 large US cities and we’re proud to rank in the top 10.
What makes you happy to live in Surf City? Researchers studied the science of happiness and found that its key ingredients include a positive mental state, healthy body, strong social connections, job satisfaction and financial well-being.
WalletHub examined each city based on 30 key indicators of happiness, ranging from the depression rate, income-growth rate, and average leisure time spent per day. From taking a stroll on the beach, to enjoying the different amenities HB has to offer, like the Senior Center in Central Park, there is something for everyone in HB to enjoy a better quality of life.
