On Saturday, August 26, the Huntington Beach Police Department (HBPD) Traffic Unit partnered with Rad Power Bikes to offer the community an informative e-bike safety session. The presentation was well attended, and HBPD would like to recognize Rad Power Bikes for their invaluable collaboration in making this educational event possible.

This initiative is just one of many proactive steps the HBPD has taken to increase awareness about e-bike safety within the community. The HBPD’s commitment includes engaging with local schools for safety education, conducting bi-monthly community e-bike and bicycle safety workshops, hosting insightful Facebook Live panels, and increasing enforcement.

The HBPD remains committed to continuously enhancing e-bike safety throughout the City and is actively seeking opportunities to make a positive impact.
