The focus on cooking safety aims to educate the public about simple yet vital steps they can take to help reduce the risk of fire when cooking at home, ensuring everyone’s safety. According to the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), cooking is the leading cause of home fires. For more information about Fire Prevention Week, please visit the NFPA website.
